Dr. Filutowicz has been associated with the Bacteriology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 1987 and has been a Full Professor since 1996.
Although teaching, writing, and administrative duties keep him busy in his office, he enjoys getting his hands dirty at the bench. He also enjoys getting his hands dirty with potting soil and the lab is an appreciative beneficiary of Marcin's green thumb. Marcin is also an accomplished (?) wine and beer maker. Unfortunately, legal restrictions prevent us from enjoying the fruits of this labor in the lab.
